- Do you carry the same prescription medications as other pharmacies?
YES! Not only do we carry all the most widely prescribed specialized pain medications (which many of the big retail pharmacies may not or only carry in very limited quantities), we also maintain an inventory of other prescription medications.

- Do you offer generic as well as name-brand medications?
Yes, Assured Pharmacy carries both name-brand and generic (where available) versions of most popular prescription medications.
- How do your prices compare to other pharmacies?
Our everyday prices on drugs are competitive with other major pharmacies.
- Will you accept my insurance?
We accept most major insurance plans and are MediCal friendly.
When insurance is used, your co-pay will be determined as part of the prescription fill/refill process. We contact your insurance company to validate your coverage and, if there are any problems or issues, we'll notify you immediately.
- What forms of payment do you accept?
You may pay for your order by check, card or cash. We accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and Diner's Card.
- How much money will an insurance or prescription discount card save me?
This will vary by plan. Your savings are determined by your benefit provider. Contact the provider to obtain current information. The plan administrator's phone number will normally be located on the back of your card.
- How do I place an order to get my prescription filled?
This can happen in a number of ways.
- You can bring your written prescription to the Assured Pharmacy location nearest you.
- Your doctor can fax the prescription to us.
- Your physician can electronically send us your prescription using our advanced e-Prescribing Technology*. It's fast, accurate and secure!
* Not all physicians are using this technology.

- Can I phone in to request a refill?
This depends upon the specific medications you are taking and how your doctor writes the prescription. State and federal regulations apply here. Some medications must be written and dispensed in quantities that cover a finite (usually one month or less ) time periods. As such, a refill is not possible and a new prescription must be obtained from your doctor. Your local Assured Pharmacy pharmacist can advise if this applies to the medications you are taking.
- Can I get my medication(s) delivered?
Of course, and shipping/delivery to your home or office is FREE!
- How long will it take for my medication(s) to arrive?
Normally, medication can be sent out for overnight/next day delivery. We also can provide same day delivery options for those living close to our pharmacies. Your medications will arrive in discreet, professional packaging that is traceable thus avoiding lost shipments.
- What if something happens to my order?
If your prescription order is lost or is damaged during shipping, please call the pharmacy where you placed the order immediately. To protect the health and safety of our customers, we cannot accept returns on prescription items.
- How much does shipping cost?
Nothing. Shipping of your medications is FREE!
- Do you offer the same services as other pharmacies?
As a specialty pharmacy focused on the needs of the pain management patient and their physician, Assured Pharmacy provides the highest level of personalized medication management/prescription service available today.
- If I have a question, can I speak with a pharmacist?
Yes. Our team of licensed pharmacists and pharmacy personnel are available from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, 5 days a week (Monday through Friday) . To speak to a pharmacist regarding a specific medication, possible prescription drug interactions or other medication questions, contact your local pharmacy location.
- Do I need a prescription to order medications?
Yes. There are numerous state and federal regulations that govern the dispensing of prescription medications. And many specialized pain medications come with even tougher standards and restrictions. It is illegal to obtain a medication without a prescription from your doctor. For your safety, Assured Pharmacy does not honor prescriptions written by "online doctors" or doctors that don't consult with their patients in person.
- How do I know my private information is secure?
Your privacy is a primary concern. We rigorously protect all your health information and never share it with any third parties, except as may be required by law. Assured Pharmacy complies with strict HIPAA standards.
- Can I buy other products with my prescription?
As a pharmacy that specializes in the particular needs of the pain management patient and their physician(s), Assured Pharmacy carries a wide variety of prescription medications to treat pain-related conditions. We can of course also fill your other prescription needs. We do not carry non-prescription related products with one exception. We do carry a complete line of Durable Medical Equipment (DME), should you have a need for such items. This would include the most popular DME items like canes, walkers, crutches and braces.
- Can others, such as family members and friends, use Assured Pharmacy for their prescription needs?
YES. While we specialize in meeting the particular needs of the pain management patient, we are happy to take care of all your family and friends prescription medications needs as well.
